DEAR is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for small to mid-size companies offering a range of financial and inventory/order management features. Pipe17 supports the following flows to/from DEAR:
- Pull orders from DEAR OR Push orders to DEAR
- Push shipment information to DEAR
- Pull OR push inventory to/from DEAR
- Push fulfillment information to DEAR
- Pull locations from DEAR

Connecting DEAR to Pipe17
Before getting started, ensure that you have admin access to your DEAR account. You will need full permissions to create and access your API keys.
- Ensure that you are already logged into DEAR.
- Open this URL in a new browser tab which will direct you to DEAR's External API management interface.
- Click the + icon to add a new API integration
4. Name the new API integration "Pipe17"
5. Click Create.
6. After you click Create you DEAR will generate an Account ID and it's associated Key. Keep this tab open and navigate back to the Pipe17 seller portal.
In Pipe17
Now you will enter your new Account ID and Key into Pipe17 which will establish your connection to DEAR.
- Click the Integrations tab on the left
- Click Add Integration in the upper right corner
- Search for DEAR. Click on it, and click Connect.
- Next, navigate back to the Integrations tab and click on the DEAR icon
- Open the Connection tab on the left
- Paste your Account ID and Key from DEAR into the designated boxes
- Click Save
Order Flow
That's all! You're now connected to DEAR via Pipe17! To get started, you'll want to review the Settings tab and configure your order flow depending on where your orders are being pulled from and being pushed to for fulfillment.
- Pull orders from DEAR OR Push orders to DEAR
- You can only select one (pull or push). Selecting PULL will enable Pipe17 to pull in your product catalog and list it in the Products tab.
- Selecting Push will update products in DEAR as they are updated in Pipe17 from your sales channel or fulfillment provider.
- Push shipment information to DEAR
- Turning on this flow will push shipment information originating from your fulfillment provider to DEAR.
- Pull OR push inventory to/from DEAR
- You can only select one (pull or push). Selecting PULL will enable Pipe17 to pull your inventory totals from DEAR which will be displayed in your Inventory tab in Pipe17.
- Selecting PUSH will push inventory originating from your fulfillment provider or sales channel to DEAR.
- Push fulfillment information to DEAR
- Turning on this flow will push fulfillment information from your fulfillment provider (including tracking data) to DEAR
- Pull locations from DEAR
- Turning on this flow will enable Pipe17 to pull locations from DEAR which will be displayed in your Inventory > Locations tab.
Adding an Ingestion Date
By default, Pipe17 will NOT import orders created prior to your DEAR<>Pipe17 connection being established. In order to ensure your test and future orders import successfully, be sure to add an ingestion date/time.
- Click on the Integrations tab
- open the DEAR connector
- Scroll down to Integration Specific Settings
- Under Orders, add a date/time equal to the date/time of your DEAR<>Pipe17 connection, or a date/time of when you want Pipe17 to start importing orders.
