Getting Started with Katana

Katana is a Manufacturing ERP system giving total visibility and control over in-house and outsourced production.

Pipe17 supports the following flows for the Katana Connector:

  • Pull and/or Push Orders to/from Katana
  • Pull and/or Pull Products to/from Katana
  • Pull and/or Push Inventory to/from Katana
  • Pull Locations from Katana (turned on by default)

Requirements

  • Pipe17 Account - Ensure that you have a Pipe17 account. If you do not yet have a Pipe17 account, book a demo with a Pipe17 team member to get started.
  • Katana Account - Ensure you have access to https://katanamrp.com/login/. This will be needed to establish connection to Pipe17/Katana account.

Connecting Katana to Pipe17

To connect with your Katana account, click **Connect**.
Login using your Katana credentials, you will be redirected to Pipe17.

 

Connection Flow Settings

Orders: Set to either Pull from Katana, Push to Katana, both, or Disabled. 

Pull Orders → pulls in Orders from Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Push Orders → pushes Orders updates into Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Push & Pull → update Orders in both directions into and out of Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Products: Set to either Pull from Katana, Push to Katana or Disabled.

Pull Products → pulls in the Product Catalog from Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Push Products → pushes the Product Catalog to Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Inventory: Set to either Pull from Katana, Push to Katana, both, or Disabled.

Pull Inventory → pulls Inventory updates from Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Push Inventory → pushes Inventory updates to Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Push & Pull → update Inventory in both directions into and out of Katana starting from the datetime when the Katana Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Locations: Set to Pull from Katana by default. This setting cannot be turned off since Order Processing depends on Location information.
