Getting Started with Lightspeed

Lightspeed is cloud based point-of-sale POS system.

Pipe17 supports the following flows for the Lightspeed Connector:

• Pull Orders from Lightspeed
• Pull and/or Push Products to/from Lightspeed
• Pull Inventory to Lightspeed
• Push Arrivals to Lightspeed
• Pull Receipts to Lightspeed
• Pull Locations from Lightspeed (turned on by default)

Requirements

• Pipe17 Account - Ensure that you have a Pipe17 account. If you do not yet have a Pipe17 account, book a demo with a Pipe17 team member to get started.
• Lightspeed Account - Ensure you have access to your Lightspeed admin account. This will be needed to establish connection to Pipe17/Lightspeed account.

Connecting Lightspeed to Pipe17

Navigate to Integrations in your Pipe17 portal and click on "Add Integration" to add the Lightspeed connector to your account.

Find the Lightspeed Connector and Click on Add.

The Connection Flow Settings page is displayed, you can choose your settings now or after the connection is established by navigating to the Integrations page.

Click Connect.

Login to your Lightspeed account and follow the steps to approve Pipe17 access.

Connection Flow Settings

Orders: Set to either Pull from Lightspeed or Disabled. 

Pull Orders → pulls in Orders from Lightspeed starting from the datetime when the Lightspeed Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Products: Set to either Pull from Lightspeed, Push to Lightspeed or Disabled.

Pull Products → pulls in the Product Catalog from Lightspeed starting from the datetime when the Lightspeed Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Push Products → pushes the Product Catalog to Lightspeed starting from the datetime when the Lightspeed Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Inventory: Set to either Pull from Lightspeed or Disabled. 

Pull Inventory → pulls in Inventory from Lightspeed starting from the datetime when the Lightspeed Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Arrivals: Set to either Push to Lightspeed or Disabled.

Push Arrivals → pushes the Arrivals to Lightspeed starting from the datetime when the Lightspeed Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Receipts: Set to either Pull from Lightspeed or Disabled. 

Pull Receipts → pulls in Receipts from Lightspeed starting from the datetime when the Lightspeed Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

Locations: Set to Pull from Receipts by default. This setting cannot be turned off since Order Processing depends on Location information.
