Connect Vend to Pipe17

Vend is cloud based point-of-sale POS system.

Pipe17 supports the following flows for the Vend Connector:

• Pull Orders from Vend
• Pull Products from Vend
• Pull Inventory to Vend
• Push Arrivals to Vend
• Pull Receipts to Vend
• Pull Locations from Vend (turned on by default)

Requirements

• Pipe17 Account - Ensure that you have a Pipe17 account. If you do not yet have a Pipe17 account, book a demo with a Pipe17 team member to get started.
• Vend Account - Ensure you have access to your Vend admin account. This will be needed to establish connection to Pipe17/Vend account.

Connecting Vend to Pipe17

1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in your Pipe17 portal and click on "Add Integration" in the upper right corner.
2. Find the Vend Connector and Click on Add.
3. The Connection Flow Settings page is displayed, leave these toggles turned off for now. We will revisit these later in the guide.
4. Click Next
5. API URL:
   1. From the browser URL copy the domain portion. For example, if the URL looks like https://myshop.vendhq.com/ then https://myshop.vendhq.com is your API URL.
   2. Copy the domain URL value into the API URL field on Pipe17.
6. API Token:
   1. Click on Settings > Personal Tokens.
   2. Generate a new Personal Token.

   3. Copy the value into the API Token field on Pipe17.

7. Click Connect.

Connection Flow Settings

• Orders: Set to either Pull from Vend or Disabled. 
  • Pull Orders from Vend: pulls in Orders from Vend starting from the datetime when the Vend Integration was enabled on Pipe17.
    
• Products: Set to either Pull from Vend or Disabled.
  • Pull Products from Vend: pulls Product Catalog updates from Vend starting from the datetime when the Vend Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

• Inventory: Set to either Pull from Vend or Disabled.

  • Pull Inventory from Vend: pulls Inventory updates from Vend starting from the datetime when the Vend Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

• Arrivals: Set to either Push to Vend or Disabled.

  • Push Arrivals from Vend: pushes Arrivals updates into Vend starting from the datetime when the Vend Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

• Receipts: Set to either Pull from Vend or Disabled.

  • Pull Receipts from Vend: pulls Receipts updates from Vend starting from the datetime when the Vend Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

• Locations: Set to Pull from Vend by default. This setting cannot be turned off since Order Processing depends on Location information.
