This guide is intended for retailers, brands, and fulfillment partners responsible for managing FTP access and connector setup.
Requirements
Pipe17 Account
Ensure you have an active Pipe17 account.
If you do not have access, book a demo with a Pipe17 representative.
Connector Access

Ensure you have valid FTP credentials:
Host

Confirm that your FTP server supports one of the following protocols:
FTP
FTPS
SFTP
Whitelisted IP Addresses
Your FTP server must allow inbound connections from the Pipe17 IP addresses listed below. Whitelist all IPs for the environments you plan to use.

Failure to whitelist these IPs may result in connection errors or failed file transfers.
Integrating Connectors to the App
Step 1: Add the Integration
In your Pipe17 portal, navigate to Integrations → Add Integration.
Search for the corresponding connector.
Select the connector and click Connect.
Step 2: Configure Connection Flow Settings
The Connection Flow Settings page appears.
You can configure settings during setup or update them later from the Integrations page.
Step 3: Enter Required Connection Details
Provide the following information:

Connection Protocol
Select FTP, FTPS, or SFTP.

Host
Domain or IP address of your FTP server.
Example:

Port

Common values:
21 for FTP
22 for SFTP
990 for FTPS

Username and Password
Credentials associated with your FTP account.

Processing Action
Adds a
.processingsuffix to the file name while the file is being processed.

Post-processing Action

Choose one of the following:
Remove the file
Move the file to a processed folder
Add a
.processedfile extension

Step 4: Save the Configuration
Click Save to complete the setup.
Troubleshooting
Connection Fails or Times Out
Verify all required Pipe17 IP addresses are whitelisted on your FTP server.
Confirm the selected protocol and port match your server configuration.
Validate FTP credentials and permissions.
Files Not Processing as Expected
Review processing and post-processing actions.
Ensure the FTP user has read, write, and delete permissions as required.
