The Mabang connector sends your shipping requests and products from the app to Mabang ERP, and brings fulfillments, inventory, and warehouses from Mabang back into the app. The connector creates a dedicated shop in Mabang for your orders and syncs only the Mabang warehouses that you list in the settings.
With this connector, you can:
- Send shipping requests to Mabang as orders, and cancel those orders in Mabang when you cancel the shipping request in the app.
- Bring fulfillments and tracking numbers from Mabang into the app, with the option to wait for last-mile tracking.
- Pull inventory from your dedicated and shared Mabang virtual warehouses.
- Create and update products in Mabang from your product catalog in the app.
- Create locations in the app from your Mabang warehouses.
Setup
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- An active Mabang ERP account with API access.
- Your Mabang App Key (consumer key) and App Token (consumer secret).
- The IDs of the Mabang virtual warehouses that fulfill your orders. For shared virtual warehouses, you also need the Mabang label IDs or label names that identify your SKUs.
To connect Mabang:
- Navigate to Integrations in the app.
- Click Add Integration, and then select Mabang.
- Enter your Mabang consumer key in the App Key field.
- Enter your Mabang consumer secret in the App Token field.
- Click Connect.
- In the integration settings, toggle on the flows you want to use: Push shipping requests to Mabang, Pull fulfillments from Mabang, Push products to Mabang, Pull inventory from Mabang, and Pull warehouses from Mabang as locations.
When you connect, the app checks your credentials and looks for a shop in Mabang that matches Shop Name. If the shop doesn’t exist, the app creates it. If you leave Shop Name empty, the shop is named Pipe17-<integrationId>.
Settings
| Setting | Description | Options/Default |
|---|---|---|
| Shop Name | The Mabang shop that receives your orders. Each change creates a new shop in Mabang, so avoid changing it after orders have synced. | Optional. Default: Pipe17-<integrationId>
|
| List of Dedicated Virtual Warehouses (Provide IDs) | The IDs of the Mabang warehouses that hold only your stock. The app uses them to pull locations, inventory, and fulfillments, and adds them to products it creates in Mabang. | One warehouse ID per row |
| List of Shared Virtual Warehouses (Provide ID:{tag1|tag2}) | Mabang warehouses that you share with others. The app pulls inventory and fulfillment lines only for SKUs that have at least one of the listed Mabang labels. Use the format <Warehouse ID>:{tag1|tag2}, for example 123:{456|good}. Keep the curly braces. |
One entry per row |
| Exclude products created before this date | Sends only products created in the app after this date to Mabang. Products already in Mabang stay there. | Optional. Default: integration creation date |
| Push inactive products | Sends inactive products to Mabang. The app never deletes products in Mabang. | On/Off. Default: Off |
| Force products resync | Sends all products to Mabang on the next run, even if they haven’t changed. Turns off automatically when the run starts. | On/Off. Default: Off |
| Select inventory pull mode | How the app pulls inventory during the first sync and during a forced resync. After that, the app pulls only new changes. | Pull inventory by SKUs or Pull inventory by a specified start date. Default: by start date |
| Query the inventory in Mabang from this date | The start date for pulling inventory changes when the pull mode is by date. | Optional. Default: integration creation date |
| Append SKUs to existing Pipe17 products catalog to query the inventory in Mabang | Extra SKUs to pull inventory for, in addition to the SKUs in your product catalog, when the pull mode is by SKUs. Wildcards aren’t supported. | Optional. One SKU per row |
| Exact SKUs list to query the inventory in Mabang. | Pulls inventory only for these SKUs, ignoring your product catalog, when the pull mode is by SKUs. Wildcards aren’t supported. | Optional. One SKU per row |
| Force inventory resync | Pulls inventory from Mabang on the next run based on the inventory settings above. Turns off automatically when the run starts. | On/Off. Default: On |
| Cancel the Mabang order when the Pipe17 shipping request status is in the specified statuses. | Shipping request statuses that cancel the matching order in Mabang. | Default: canceled, canceledRestock
|
| When shipping request is canceled in Mabang, apply following status to Pipe17 | The status the app gives a shipping request when its order is canceled in Mabang. | Review required, Canceled, Canceled Restock, or Failed. Default: Canceled Restock |
| Force Mabang Managed Routing | Lets Mabang choose the warehouse for each order. When on, the app creates a location named Mabang Routed Location and sends orders to Mabang without a warehouse. | On/Off. Default: Off |
| DO NOT pull fulfillments when it's 1st Mile Tracking | Waits until Mabang has last-mile tracking before bringing a fulfillment into the app. A fulfillment counts as first-mile when the first tracking number is empty, matches the main tracking number, or matches the regex below. | On/Off. Default: On |
| Regex for 1st Mile Tracking Identification | A regular expression, enclosed in slashes, that identifies first-mile tracking numbers. For example, /^YT/i matches tracking numbers that start with “YT”. |
Optional |
Flows
| Flow | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Shipping requests | Pipe17 → Mabang | Runs every 5 minutes. Sends shipping requests that are ready for fulfillment to your Mabang shop as orders, or updates the order if it already exists. Sent shipping requests move to Sent to Fulfillment. If Mabang rejects one, its status changes to Failed. |
| Cancellations | Pipe17 → Mabang | When a shipping request reaches one of the statuses in the cancel setting, the app cancels the matching order in Mabang. |
| Fulfillments and cancellations | Mabang → Pipe17 | Runs every 5 minutes. Brings shipped Mabang orders into the app as fulfillments with tracking numbers. Only lines fulfilled from your listed warehouses are included. If Mabang cancels an order, the app applies the status you chose in the cancel action setting. |
| Inventory | Mabang → Pipe17 | Runs about once an hour and pulls only changed inventory from your listed warehouses. A daily check also refreshes inventory for every SKU that has inventory in the app. |
| Products | Pipe17 → Mabang | Runs every 5 minutes. Creates new SKUs in Mabang and updates existing ones. The app doesn’t delete products in Mabang. |
| Locations | Mabang → Pipe17 | Runs about once a day. Creates a location in the app for each warehouse you list in the dedicated and shared warehouse settings. |
Troubleshooting
The connection fails with a connectivity check error
The App Key or App Token is wrong, or the API account can’t create a shop in Mabang. Check the credentials in Mabang, and then update them in the connection settings.A shipping request or product fails with “warehouseId not found in Mabang”
The warehouse ID in your settings, or the location assigned to the shipping request, doesn’t match a Mabang warehouse. Check the IDs under List of Dedicated Virtual Warehouses (Provide IDs) and List of Shared Virtual Warehouses (Provide ID:{tag1|tag2}), and make sure the shipping request uses a Mabang location. To learn more, see Getting Started with Locations in Pipe17.A shipping request has the status Failed
Mabang rejected the order. Open the shipping request to see the error from Mabang, fix the data it points to, such as an address or SKU, and then send the shipping request again.A shipped order in Mabang has no fulfillment in the app
The app skips fulfillments that have only first-mile tracking, that have no lines from your listed warehouses, or whose SKUs don’t have the labels set for a shared warehouse. Wait for last-mile tracking, or turn off DO NOT pull fulfillments when it's 1st Mile Tracking. Also check your warehouse and label settings.Inventory doesn’t update for some SKUs
The app pulls inventory only from listed warehouses, and from shared warehouses only for SKUs with a matching label. Check the warehouse settings, and then turn on Force inventory resync.
