The Radial RUC connector connects the app to Radial Unified Cloud (RUC), Radial's warehouse platform. It sends shipping requests, products, arrivals, and returns from the app to Radial, and brings fulfillments, inventory, receipts, returns, and warehouse locations back into the app. Radial sends most updates to the app as they happen, and the app also checks Radial every 5 minutes.
With this connector, you can:
- Send shipping requests to Radial and cancel them before they ship.
- Receive one fulfillment for each parcel that Radial ships, with tracking details.
- Send your product catalog, arrivals, and returns (RMAs) to Radial.
- Receive inventory, goods receipts, and return receipts from Radial.
- Import Radial distribution centres as locations in the app.
- See Radial's rejection reasons, such as SKUs missing from the Radial item master, as exceptions in the app.
Setup
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- An active Radial RUC account.
- Your RUC client ID and distribution centre code from Radial.
- Your XML feeds base URL and XML feeds API key from Radial.
- Your JSON API base URL, OAuth2 token URL, OAuth2 client ID, and OAuth2 client secret from Radial.
- A webhook shared secret to give to Radial. Radial includes it with each update it sends to the app.
- Your order ID prefix and SKU prefix, if Radial stores your orders or items behind a client prefix.
To connect Radial RUC:
- Navigate to Integrations in the app.
- Click Add Integration, and then select Radial RUC.
- Enter your RUC client ID in the Client ID field.
- Enter your distribution centre code in the Distribution Centre field.
- If Radial uses prefixes for your account, enter them in the Order ID Prefix and SKU Prefix fields. Include any separator, for example
253-. Otherwise, leave these fields blank. - Enter your XML feeds URL in the XML Feeds Base URL field.
- Enter your XML feeds API key in the XML Feeds X-API-Key field.
- Enter your JSON API URL in the JSON API Base URL field.
- Enter your token URL in the OAuth2 Token URL field.
- Enter your OAuth2 credentials in the OAuth2 Client ID and OAuth2 Client Secret fields.
- Enter your shared secret in the Webhook Shared Secret field.
- Click Connect.
After you connect, ask Radial to register the Pipe17 address that receives their updates. Radial needs it to send fulfillments, inventory, receipts, return receipts, and feed acknowledgments to the app. To get the address, submit a support request.

Troubleshooting
-
The connection fails or returns an authorization error
One of the URLs or credentials is wrong, or they're for a different Radial environment. Check the JSON API Base URL, OAuth2 Token URL, OAuth2 Client ID, and OAuth2 Client Secret values with Radial, and then update them in the connection settings. -
A shipping request or product has an exception that lists SKUs not in the RUC item master
Radial rejected it because the SKUs don't exist in Radial. Make sure Push product catalog to Radial RUC is on and the products were sent. If Radial stores your items behind a prefix, check that SKU Prefix matches it exactly. -
An exception lists Radial distribution centres with no matching location
Radial reported data for a distribution centre that has no location in the app. Turn on Pull locations from Radial RUC, or create a location that uses the distribution centre code as its vendor ID. Then resolve the exception. To learn more, see Getting Started with Locations in Pipe17. -
A canceled shipping request went back to Sent to Fulfillment with a late-cancel exception
Radial already shipped the order, so it can't be canceled. Handle the order as a return. -
Shipping requests stay in Ready for Fulfillment, or fulfillments and inventory don't arrive
The app isn't receiving Radial's updates. Check that Pull fulfillments from Radial RUC is on, because it also handles Radial's acceptance of shipping requests. Then check with Radial that they registered the Pipe17 address and use the same Webhook Shared Secret.
