Connect Return Rabbit to Pipe17

The Return Rabbit connector imports your returns (RMAs) from Return Rabbit into the app, so you can track them alongside your orders. Return Rabbit has no locations API, so the connector creates a single default location in the app to receive these returns. The connector only reads from Return Rabbit and doesn’t send any data back to it.

With this connector, you can:

  • Import returns from Return Rabbit every 5 minutes.
  • Import only returns with the Return Rabbit statuses you choose.
  • Create a default Return Rabbit location in the app with a name you set.
  • See the return reason, refund amount, exchange item, and return tracking number on each return.

Setup

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • An active Return Rabbit account with access to the Return Rabbit dashboard.
  • A Return Rabbit API token. You can generate it in your Return Rabbit dashboard.
  • Your Return Rabbit API URL, if it’s different from the default https://api.returnrabbit.app.

Flows

Flow Direction Notes
Locations Settings → Pipe17 Return Rabbit has no locations API, so the app creates one location from Default location name. The location is created once. If you change the name later, the app keeps the existing location. Runs every 5 minutes.
Returns Return Rabbit → Pipe17 Runs every 5 minutes and imports returns created or completed since the last run, going back no more than 30 days. Each Return Rabbit return becomes a return in the app with one line item, linked to the original order by its order number. The return status follows the Return Rabbit status, for example APPROVED becomes Authorized, DELIVERED becomes Received, and REFUND_SUCCESS becomes Refunded.
Return updates Not supported The connector doesn’t send return updates, refunds, or status changes from the app back to Return Rabbit.

Troubleshooting

  • The connection fails or returns an authorization error
Return Rabbit rejected the API token. Generate a new API token in your Return Rabbit dashboard, and then update the Return Rabbit API Key field in the connection settings. Also check that Return Rabbit API URL is correct.
  • No returns appear in the app
Check that Pull locations and Pull RMAs from Return Rabbit are both on. If you set Pull returns only with specific statuses, make sure the returns you expect have one of those statuses in Return Rabbit.
  • Older returns weren’t imported
The connector only imports returns from the last 30 days. Returns created earlier than that aren’t imported.
  • A return is missing its SKU or doesn’t match a product
The connector uses the SKU of the product variant on the Return Rabbit return. Make sure the SKU in Return Rabbit matches the SKU in the app.
  • Returns are delayed
If Return Rabbit is temporarily unavailable or limits the number of requests, the app stops the current run and tries again on the next one, about 5 minutes later. No action is needed.
