Connect Wayfair to Pipe17

In this Article

NOTE: Wayfair onboarding requires a series of steps including reaching out to their support to unlock API access for the integration to work. Pipe17 can perform all those actions on your behalf, but that requires temporary portal access to Wayfair (partners.wayfair.com). Basically, first we need to create a sandbox and a production app in your Wayfair account. Next, with the app token, we need to execute a series of APIs. Finally, we have to file a support ticket with Wayfair showing proof of the first 2 steps for them to enable API access. Typical response from Wayfair support is 2 to 3 days. Overall the entire process can take 2 to 4 days. If these steps are not performed, integration will partially work due to how Wayfair allows access to their APIs, for e.g. we can get orders but cannot post fulfillments, also we cannot get inventory and locations.

Please reach out to your customer success rep, or solution architect, or file a support ticket with us to help you setup your Wayfair integration.

  3. In Pipe17, select your WayFair environment (Sandbox or Production). A Sandbox account will be used for testing while Production will be used once you go-live.

Testing

Great! Now you're ready to begin testing to ensure Pipe17 is receiving your orders. To do this, you can utilize Integration Specific Settings (underneath your order flows) to apply a filter for your test order.

  1. Before you begin, ensure that Pull orders from Wayfair is turned OFF
  2. Under Integration Specific Settings, apply a date/time in the Exclude orders created before this date field. This will ensure that Pipe17 does not import orders which may have already been fulfilled.
  3. Place your test order in Wayfair. Be sure that your order includes a product, recipient name, and a shipping address.
  4. Once the order is placed, add your test order ID to the Process only orders with specific order IDs field.
  5. Turn on Pull orders from Wayfair.
  6. Click Save

Your order should be pulled into Pipe17 within 5-20 minutes. When you're ready to go-live, remove the above order ID filter and click Save
