Connect Snowflake to Pipe17

Snowflake is a platform powering the data cloud.

Pipe17 supports the following flows for the Snowflake Connector:

  • Push Orders to Snowflake
  • Push Products to Snowflake
  • Push Shipping Requests to Snowflake
  • Push Fulfillments to Snowflake
  • Push Inventory to Snowflake
  • Push Arrivals to Snowflake
  • Push Receipts to Snowflake
  • Push Purchase Orders to Snowflake
  • Push Transfer Orders to Snowflake
  • Push Locations to Snowflake

Requirements

  • Pipe17 Account - Ensure that you have a Pipe17 account. If you do not yet have a Pipe17 account, book a demo with a Pipe17 team member to get started.
  • Snowflake Account - Ensure you have access to your Snowflake admin account. This will be needed to establish connection to Pipe17/Snowflake account.

Connecting Snowflake to Pipe17

Navigate to Integrations in your Pipe17 portal and click on "Add Integration" to add the Snowflake connector to your account.

Find the Snowflake Connector and Click on Add.

The Connection Flow Settings page is displayed, you can choose your settings now or after the connection is established by navigating to the Integrations page.

Ask your Snowflake representative for the following information:

  • URL to access Snowflake Data
  • DB Name
  • Schema Name
  • Fill in these fields along with Snowflake Username and Password.
  • Click Connect.

Connection Flow Settings

Orders: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled. 

Push Orders → pushes Orders updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Products: Set to either Push to Snowflake, or Disabled.

Push Products → pushes Product Catalog updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Shipping Requests: Set to either Push to Snowflake, or Disabled.

Push Shipping Requests → pushes Shipping Requests into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Fulfillments: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Fulfillments → pushes Fulfillments updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Inventory: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Inventory → pushes Inventory updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Arrivals: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Arrivals → pushes Arrivals updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Receipts: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Receipts → pushes Receipts updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Purchase Orders: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Purchase Orders → pushes Purchase Orders updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Transfer Orders: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Transfer Orders → pushes Transfer Orders updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.

 

Locations: Set to either Push to Snowflake or Disabled.

Push Transfer Locations → pushes Locations updates into Snowflake starting from the datetime when the Snowflake Integration was enabled on Pipe17.
