Re-authorize the Pipe17 app in TikTok Shop Seller Center when your TikTok authorization expires, when TikTok introduces new required scopes, or when the connector in the app reports a disconnected status that points to expired credentials. Re-authorization preserves your existing integration state: orders, products, inventory mappings, and connector settings remain intact.
Before you begin
- Re-authorization can only be performed by the shop owner - the account that originally signed up for TikTok Shop. Other users on the account will not see the Authorize action.
- Sign in to TikTok Shop Seller Center with the shop owner credentials before you start.
- Have access to the contact email associated with the integration.
Steps
1. Open My Apps & Services in Seller Center
- In TikTok Shop Seller Center, open the left navigation.
- Hover over the Growth menu.
- Click My Apps & Services.

2. Start re-authorization for the Pipe17 app

- In the Action column for that row, click Authorize.

3. Complete the Renew dialog
- In the Renew dialog, confirm the correct shop is selected in Target shop.
- From the Renew options dropdown, select Re-authorize only.
- Confirm the Contact email is correct. Update Contact phone number if needed.
- Select the consent checkbox to agree to share the listed data with Pipe17.
- Click Confirm to install.

When the Authorize step completes, Seller Center returns you to the My apps and incidents page. The Pipe17 app remains in Active status with a refreshed authorization.
After re-authorization
- Open the TikTok connector in the app and confirm it shows a connected status.
- Run a manual sync or wait for the next polling cycle to confirm orders, inventory, and product flows resume.
- If you previously had exceptions caused by expired credentials, retry the affected records.
Troubleshooting
-
Authorize action is not visible
You are not signed in as the shop owner. Sign out and sign back in with the account that originally created the TikTok Shop, then repeat the steps. -
Renew options dropdown does not show Re-authorize only
The current authorization may already be valid, or your account may not have the required permissions. Verify the Pipe17 app status on the My apps and incidents page. If the app is already Active and not expiring, no action is needed. -
Connector still reports a disconnected status after re-authorization
Wait a few minutes for the new token to propagate, then refresh the connector page. If the status does not update, open the connector in the app and click Connect to TikTok to refresh credentials from the Pipe17 side. -
Re-authorized the wrong shop
TikTok scopes authorization to a single shop per re-authorization. Repeat the steps and select the correct shop in Target shop in the Renew dialog.
