Viewing, Searching, and Filtering Orders

The Orders page in the app gives you full visibility into all transactions ingested into your Pipe17 workspace. From here, you can:

- Monitor your order flow across systems

- Identify fulfillment or sync issues

- Drill into individual order details

- Apply filters to find exactly what you need

Whether you're tracking down a specific order or resolving exceptions, this page is your operational hub.

If you’re unable to find an expected order, it may have been skipped due to configuration settings, ingestion filters, or connector-level rules. To review skipped orders, navigate to the Events → Skipped Entities section within the relevant integration for more details.

Searching Orders

The search bar at the top of the Orders page allows you to quickly locate orders by scanning across multiple data fields. It supports partial text matches and is useful for pinpointing individual transactions or sets of related orders.

You can search by:

Searchable Field

Description

Order IDs

Search by Pipe17 internal order IDs or external order IDs from your sales channels

Customer Information

Includes customer name, email address, and company name (if provided)

Product Information

Searchable by SKUs or product names listed in line items

Custom Fields

Combining Search and Filters

To refine your results, you can combine the basic search with both standard filters and advanced filters.

How it works:

  1. The search term is applied first across the supported fields.

  2. Filters are then layered on top to further narrow the results.

This allows for powerful combinations such as:

Find all orders containing “Product X” that are in “Fulfilled” status and were created within the last 30 days.

By using search and filters together, you can isolate orders with precision for review, action, or troubleshooting.

Bulk Actions for Orders

Pipe17 allows you to perform bulk actions on selected orders directly from the Orders table. This helps to optimize repetitive tasks and reduce manual effort when managing high volumes of transactions.

Available Bulk Actions

Action

Description

Set Order Hold

Temporarily place selected orders on hold. You can specify hold duration (in days, hours, and minutes).

Update Status

Change the lifecycle status of multiple orders. Supported statuses include:
New, Review Required, Ready For Fulfillment, Sent To Fulfillment, Fulfilled, Canceled, Archived.

Update Exception Status

Run Routing

  • Orders were previously on hold

  • Routing issues have been fixed

  • Manual routing is needed

Push Orders

Sends selected orders to their destination connectors (e.g., 3PLs, ERPs). Useful when:

  • Orders failed to sync previously

  • Changes were made that need to be pushed

How to Use Bulk Actions

  1. Filter or search to narrow down the set of orders you want to act on.

  2. Select individual orders using checkboxes or click the header checkbox to select all visible orders.

  3. Choose the appropriate bulk action from the toolbar.
